Opticalloozza #1865: Black or White?

You may find this hard to
believe but research subject
#1 at left -- let's call him
Lindsey -- is actually white.
Lindsey seems black because
he appears against an all
white background. Research
subject #2 at right -- we'll
call him Cornel -- seems
white because Cornel
appears against a black
background. This is a
phenomenon called luminosity, i.e., a measure of the number of photons
radiating from each subject's skin. Try playing this skin game at home with
