The Whip-Poor-Willephant: Another Animalephant Amalgam -- With Coda

Whip-Poor-Willephants combine 
prehensile trunks with song. 
These crossbreeds’ noses…? Serpentine. 
Their chirrups…? Overlong. 
Mulephants ‘n’ Molephants 
be crossbreeds, ev’ry one.
I’ll add to that pair Volephants. 
With that I think I’m done.
